Flexible Future Proof Automation
Abar provide a range of robotic palletising solutions for bags, from low economically priced systems for palletising speeds of up to 700 bags per hour, through to high capacity systems capable of over 20 bags per minute.
In most cases, a robot palletiser provides a better alternative to conventional palletising technology. The following list outlines some of the main benefits:-
-
Minimum moving parts reduce maintenance and running costs.
-
Efficient layout - several production lines can be palletised by one robot.
-
Open floor space around the robot allows for easy cleaning.
-
Future proof - Robots layouts are not 'handed' as with a conventional palletiser, therefore should future factory layouts change the robot can simply be re-programmed and re-positioned.
-
Lower cost than a conventional palletiser.
-
Requires less floor space for installation.

Simple Bag Palletising Layout
Empty Pallets are placed on either side of the Abar robot. Light guards divide the palletising cell into two sections. This allows a completed pallet to be replaced while the other side continues to be loaded.
This layout provides a low cost solution without compromising production and allows future up grade possibilities by adding pallet handling conveyors. Capacities of up to 1200 bags per hour have been achieved with this configuration.

Bag Palletising Robot with Pallet Handling Conveyors
By using a pallet magazine and through conveyors, less fork truck movements are required for pallet placement. Additional conveyors can be added for loaded pallet buffering or connection to an automated wrapping system.
