Bag In Box

Designed to automate the placing of plastic bags into crates, buckets or cardboard cases. Abar TL-8 and TL-15 automatic bag placers provide a cost effective, reliable solution to this labour intensive operation.

Plastic crates can be de-stacked and delivered to the system automatically using our DS-602 range of crate de-stackers.

Wicketted bags are easily placed into a magazine while the machine is running. Pre-manufactured bags simplify the machine design, minimising mechanical components and therefore reducing maintenance costs.

Bags are manufactured under controlled factory conditions ensuring seal integrity. Quite often thinner bag material can be used than would be the case when manually placing bags leading to considerable cost savings.

Bag Closing

To complement the bag in box system we also supply automated bag closing systems. After filling, the bag can be de-cuffed, sealed and folded automatically.

After filling bag sides are de-cuffed and folded over the product.

Heater bars weld the top plies together. Any excess material is trimmed and removed.
